Altered Barbie Workshop
Dia de los Muertos edition
Private workshop hosted by Heather
We’re making Altered Dolls!
One of my favorite workshops, this creative experience begins with a doll and a whole lot of possibilities.
Guests will choose a doll from the selection available in the studio, then begin transforming it into a one-of-a-kind creation. We'll start with painting and decorating faces and bodies (practice sheets and design inspiration will be available), and while everything dries, it's time for a little exploring.
A visit to the Barbie Closet offers a selection of dresses, shoes, and accessories, followed by a stop at the supply buffet stocked with flowers, ribbons, gems, trims, and other embellishments chosen especially for this workshop. Guests will also have access to the studio's creative pantry for even more options.
No two dolls ever turn out the same, which is part of the fun. Whether you create something elegant, whimsical, dramatic, or inspired by Día de los Muertos traditions, you'll leave with a unique keepsake and a memorable afternoon of creativity.
